Reiki is a Japanese spiritual practice traditionally shared through gentle touch. Distance Reiki is a form of Reiki in which the practitioner and recipient are not physically together.
Sessions at Western Light draw on the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and create time for quiet, reflection, and relaxation. You can join from your home, your travels, or any comfortable space.
Reiki is a complementary spiritual wellness practice, not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Western Light Reiki is a husband-and-wife practice founded by two students of Dave Hadley. Lindsay is a registered nurse with professional experience at Kaiser Permanente and UCSF. Her nursing background informs a thoughtful approach to people. Our shared training informs a thoughtful approach to distance Reiki, with each session centered on the individual receiving it.
Western Light draws on Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing. Reiki lineages honor the teachers through whom the practice has been passed from generation to generation.
This is the teaching lineage published by Awakened Light Reiki. Both founders are students of Dave Hadley.
